| Here at Stapehill is a magnificent Cistercian Abbey
situated on the fringes of Wimborne and the conurbation of Christchurch.
Poole and Bournemouth. Here the time is always Greenwich Mean time and
the nuns rise before daylight to run a farm of 25 acres and to conduct
their housework before going to bed at 7pm in the winter and an hour
later in summer. Today Stapehill is famous for its Stapehill Abbey Crafts and Gardens.
