Fullerton is just a small hamlet just outside of Leckford and Longstock. Taking the road from Stockbridge through Leckford you come to a sharp left hand bend over the River Test and on the left hand side is the Mayfly public house which is very popular during the summer months. The area is renowned for its fishing. Turn left just after the Mayfly and the road narrows and leads to Fullerton Mill and on to Longstock passing Longstock House's landscaped gardens encircled in iron railings. The Ghost Train was adapted for the screen in a joint venture with the German UFA studios and cast in the role of a detective was Guy Newall who died in 1937, he was a popular man who appeared in many of the old silent sentimental drams alongside his wife Ivy Duke and the supporting cast was mainly made up of German actors while the railway scenes were shot on the Hurstbourne-Fullerton railway line and the exteriors of the "haunted" station were filmed at nearby Wherwell.
