Minley is a tithing in the parish of Yateley, now formed into an ecclesiastical district with part of South Hawley, situate 3 miles north-west from Farnborough station on the South Western railway. The church of St. Andrew is a small modern structure of flint and stone, built and endowed by Raikes Currie, esq., in memory of his wife: it consists of chancel only, and contains several very handsome stained windows, also a tryptic representing The Birth, Crucifixion, and Resurrection of Christ, and a very elaborate altar-piece : the sittings are all of carved oak, and the interior of the building is beautifully decorated. Minley Manor, is a handsome modern mansion, situated on an eminence, and commanding extensive views over Aldershot Camp and the surrounding country.
