Privett
Privett was once a separate parish but the Parish of Froxfield was enlarged when the two became united in 1932. Froxfield is situated on high ground with vies of the hangars which are typical in this part of East Hampshire. Until the 17th century. Privett was in the manor of West Meon until the 17th century and it was recorded as being a separate manor, There is a mention of a chapel in Privett in 1291 when reference is made to the fabric of Holy Trinity chapel but the present church was built around 1876 and built on the site of the old one.
